Students should dress appropriately for school activities and in a manner which does not detract from the educational mission of the school.

• Students should be clean and well groomed.
• Apparel which advertises tobacco or alcoholic products or establishments should not be worn.
• Clothing which displays inappropriate language or illustrations should not be worn.
• Attire which can be associated with gangs, gang membership, or gang related activities should not be worn.
• Footwear is required at all times.
• Clothing should be modest and not distract from the educational process. Pants so baggy, underwear shows, and short shorts or cut offs are not acceptable. Half shirts, halter tops or shirts with spaghetti straps are not acceptable. Pajama/lounge pants are unacceptable and slippers are not appropriate footwear.

Students are not permitted to wear hats, bandannas or coats , carry book bags or gym bags in class, while inside the middle school or during middle school activities that are taking place inside the building.
