“A” Day
STUDENTS:
Maquoketa Football Camp forms are in the office if interested.
Following Monday night’s concert, some 6th grade band students took kazoos without paying for them. They are $1 each. If you took a kazoo after the concert, please either return it to Mr. Kahn, or pay the band $1 for it.
8th Grade Dance will be held on Thursday, May 17th from 4:00-6:30 in the Middle School Cafeteria. There is no charge and snacks and drinks will be provided. The theme this year is “Roll Out the Red Carpet” Here We Come! Students may wear khaki pants/capris and nice dress shirts. Girls can also wear dresses but no strapless or spaghetti strap dresses (unless a cover up is worn) please! Make sure you come and enjoy the fun!

End of Year Library Procedures
All Library materials are due Friday, May 11, 2012
May 14th– May 17thwill be Pay Your Overdue Library Days for 1/2.
8thgraders need to clear up their accounts by Thursday, May 17th.
There is a table with Library Materials that is FREE for the taking—Duplicate copies, outdated, worn copies but still good reading.
May 14th, we will begin moving the nonfiction/biography books and shelves.
Preston Boys and Girls Basketball Camp forms are available in the office.
All girls interested in playing 9th grade basketball next year need to meet with Mrs Orris at 8am in her classroom on WED.
Ohnward Fine Arts Center presents Missoula Children’s Theater Camp Rumpelstiltskin from July 30 through August 4. Information is in the office.
We have Maquoketa Middle School bags for sale in the office. The cost is $4.00. These bags are mesh/see-through so you can use them to carry your books from class to class. They would also make great PE bags!
Forms for Tennis Camp, Summer Dance Camp and Babysitters Camp are available in the office.
YMCA is sponsoring a British Soccer Camp July 30th -August 3rd. Forms are available in the office.
