The Maquoketa Middle School was once home to a junior high, high school and junior college. It now serves over 375  students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. The students are served by a highly qualified staff of approximately 60 teachers and support staff.

The middle school has a beautiful campus with many trees. Many of Maquoketa’s residents have fond memories and enjoy recollecting their experiences at the school. These stories add to the school’s rich tradition.
