Circulation

  • Student can check out library books for a two week time period and can be renewed two more times. There is a limit of two books checked out per student. Fines accumulate at .10 cents per day after the second day of being late.
  • Faculty can check out materials for eight weeks.
  • Reference materials may be checked out Overnight with permission.

Computer Use

  • 24 computers are available to use in the library. They are available for classroom use and for individual student use before, during and after school. The computers are to be used for academic purposes. Printing is to be kept at a miniumum. Copyright and license agreements must not be violated. Color printer is available.

Magazine and Newsaper Use

  • The newest issue is displayed with two weeks of newspapers being kept and three months of magazines on the shelves. They can be checked out for a class period or overnight.

Copies

  • Copies can be made for .10 cents a page.

Selection Policy

  • Recommendations for selection are encouraged from students and teachers.
  • Materials selected will be suitable for content for the grade and interest level of the intended users. Book reviews and standard catalogs are used to aid in the selection process.
  • Other considerations for materials include: factual accuracy, authority of author, integrity of writing, and quality of presentation.
