Thank you to all who donated blood this past Wednesday and to the teachers for allowing this to happen.  Together, we will have helped save over 200 lives with these donations.

Students! Remember the Match Maker survey you filled out? Now you can find out who you have been matched with! Next week during DST Student Senate members will be selling your results for only $2. Find out who you have been matched with!

The LMC 3505 Color Printer is back online.  The 4100 is still offline.

Just a reminder the lower hall classrooms will receive popcorn today during DST.

NHS students need to report to the west gym today during DST for a meeting.

There will be a meeting in Guidance at 1:05 (DST) on Monday, Jan. 30th for the students who took the PSAT this past fall.

club hOpe will be selling Valentine’s Day cookies next week at lunch – they are $5 a doz and will be delivered on Feb 14th during DST.

Feb 11th is Hearts on Fire at Pearson Hall – this Family Fun Night event offers a catered meal by Hometown Cafe, carnival games, bounce house, silent auction, live auction of men of the Maquoketa Fire Department and the band Jammer will be playing from 8pm to 11pm. Doors open at 5:30. Tickets are for sale at Osterhaus Pharmacy, Fareway, KMAQ, MSB on Main Street and in the High School Office. All proceeds from this event go to Maquoketa Fire Rescue Squad to purchase a Grain Bin Rescue Tube and Jade Harris, a 7th grade fire victim who will be undergoing treatments at Mayo Clinic in the upcoming months! Please consider spending your Valentine’s with us!

Today’s Lunch: hamburger, bun, french fries, corn and the alternate is roast beef sandwich.

Ms. Waack’s 3rd Block Intro to Psychology will be eating 1st lunch today.

club hOpe would like to say Thank You again to the students, staff and community who took part in Dance Marathon in Dec. Because of your efforts, our club is being recognized at the 24 Hour Dance Marathon for the amount of money we raised! We will be taking the stage at 4pm next Sat Feb 4th – and will be do so with you in mind because without all of you we could have never raised over $8,000 in one night. Thanks again!

club hOpe members – you must be signed up to go to Dance Marathon next Sat Feb 4th by 1pm today. I have to turn in the list of names to University of Iowa today. If you are not on the list – you cannot go.

Chamber Choir students will be leaving at 11:30 to go over to cardinal.  Please meet in the vocal room at that time.

Chamber choir will eat 5th shift after coming back from Cardinal Elementary.

Photography students:  You must pay your $30 art fee by Friday (tomorrow) or you will be dropped from the class.  If this is going to be an issue, please contact Miss Bresnan immediately.

FFA members planning to attend the Rodeo at  the I Wireless center Friday night to carry in the flag need to see Mr. Bruns today to get your free tickets.  Also those attending Saturday night to do the flag and receive the Donation from Gassers and Red Brand Wire see Mr. Bruns today. This is very important!!!!

FFA members participating in Leadership contest in February see Mr. Bruns Today – this does NOT include Conduct of  Meeting Team!

Kelly Gerlach, from the newspaper, will be here Friday morning at 7:50AM to take pictures and interview any of the large group participants who went to contest last week.  We will be meeting in Mrs. Krum’s classroom.
