Julie Kinrade, Counselor

Julie got her bachelors from University of Northern Iowa. She got her Masters of Science in Education from Western Illinois University. Julie also worked as a Junior High Behavior Disorder Teacher at Dubuque Washington. She was an Elementary Behavior Disorder teacher at Cardinal & Briggs in Maquoketa. Then she worked for North Scott as a Elementary Counselor. She was also the Middle School counselor here in Maquoketa before she came to the High School. Julie is married to Steve Kinrade. She has 5 children; Zachary, Hannah, Isaac, Sarah, and Abraham. Julie’s job consists of providing social/emotional guidance, information about college planning, careers, standardized testing, etc, distributing scholarship information and works with students on class registration/schedules.

Renea Yarolim, Guidance Secretary

Renea got her Associate of Arts degree from Clinton Community College for Business and Accounting. She is married to Doug Yarolim and has four children: Jacob, Amber, Andrew, and Austin. She is also a grandmother to Brittanie, Karter, Hope and Michael. At the Maquoketa High School guidance office Renea assists with registration, scholarships, and scheduling.
